The Japanese 5S Concept

The Japanese 5S concept was introduced to the school in November 2000. The Steering Committee involved in this work, comprising of teachers and students were successful in motivating all the school population to perform according to Seiri (Cleaning Up), Seiton (Organizing Orderliness), Seiso (Cleanliness) Seiketsu (Standardise), Shitsuke (Training and Discipline) and the school emerged 1st runners up in the 5S competition conducted by JASTECA (Japanese Social, Technical and Cultural Association)
